Lesson Policy Sheet
Molly currently teaches: Voice, Violin, Viola- Beginner to Advanced, age 6- adulthood
Molly teaches in her home studio at 4804 Sweetbrier Dr. Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17111 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Missed Lesson Policy:
- A 24 hour notice is needed when canceling a lesson.
Please notify me by calling or texting my cell phone (717-586-8039) or by email: email@example.com. In case of an emergency or illness, please contact me as soon as possible.
-A two weeks notice is required to terminate lessons.
-If your child forgets to bring home their instrument or music you can still have them come to their lesson. If I don’t have an instrument or spare music for them to use, I will take that lesson to review musical terms related to their instrument. If you choose to cancel for this reason, a make up will not be given and full payment for that lesson will be required.
Make Up Lessons:
-Lessons will only be made up if there is a 24 hour notice given at cancellation, or if cancellation occurs due to an emergency. Parents are responsible for scheduling the make up.
Lessons will not be made up if you forget to come. For last minute cancellations, the lesson will be forfeited.
If I need to cancel, I will reschedule the lesson, if needed. Lessons will only be prorated for the following reasons: if I have to cancel and cannot reschedule or the student and I are unable to coordinate our schedules for a make up. If a make up lesson is cancelled, it cannot be rescheduled and the lesson will be forfeited.
No lessons will occur on the 5th week of the month unless it is being used for make up lessons. The parent or student is responsible for schedule the make up lesson time. I will notify parents and students at the beginning of each month regarding days that will be available for make up lessons.
No Lessons during the following Holidays:
Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, July 4th
-In case of snow/ice, I will contact you if lessons will be cancelled or the lesson may be cancelled at the discretion of the parent or student. I feel safety is most important. During the winter months when the weather is bad, if you have skype or facetime and do not want to cancel the lesson, I will be able to give the lesson that way. This is a great option if you do not want to miss a week due to bad weather.
Etiquette for My Home:
-When entering my home, please come in, go down the stairs and have a seat. That is the waiting room area. The bathroom is actually located off of the studio room. Parents are more than welcome to come in, sit on the couches and wait. I ask that you please be respectful of my home.
Please note: By starting or continuing lessons, you are agreeing to abide by the policy sheet.
